YMCA Community Facility

This multi-purpose facility was constructed in three stages as funding permitted.

It won the company a Gold Medal in the 2007 RMB Commercial Projects under the Tourism & Leisure Category. Construction of the project proceeded in stages, Stage 1 & 2 comprised of the gymnasium, squash courts, reception, offices, amenities and meeting rooms.

Stage 1 & 2 were programmed to be complete in May 2006 and achieved Code of Compliance on 10 May. It was originally envisaged that Stage 3 would be started in February 2006 to enable the complete project to be finished by early July 2006. Stage 3 started in May 2006 with completion of November 2006, public use was achieved on 15 November.

Project

A multi-purpose community, sports and recreational facility (3,762m2) located in the heart of Bishopdale, the facility consists of basketball courts, gymnasium, squash courts, community rooms and a creche with associated facilities for catering and outdoor play areas.
