Audi Terminal

Hanham & Philp were engaged direct by the client on a cost plus basis for this project.

This new Audi dealership building was designed and built to the strict criteria specified by Audi in Germany, to maintain their world-wide showroom image. Attention to detail had to be high to match the prestige of the vehicles on offer within.

The original building was partially demolished, with the existing workshop being significantly extended both horizontally and vertically to create a new 2 level showroom, office spaces and a workshop that was fully tiled and fitted out more akin to a hospital room than your typical vehicle workshop.

The use of perforated exterior metal cladding and lighting gave this project a very solid feel to the outside but warm and welcoming inside. Construction was a steel/timber upper frame, on largely steel and concrete superstructure.
